As the consumer of the film I feel like in the UK this film was advertised well. Unlike a big franchise like Star wars or The Hobbit it didn't have a conglomerate film institution making it so they would not have been to make as much advertisement as those other big franchises, such as merchandise. However, I remember at the time they did make this film well known. It was widely advertised on Television adverts and also it was advertised on youtube. Furthermore, they also used very well known and famous actors on global scale such as Benedict Cumberbatch, Keira Knightley and Charles Dance.
