Feedback

Feedback from youtube users:

After putting the rough cut up onto youtube I have asked people to watch it and give us feedback.
Advice that was given to me was that our opening was appealing to the audience however, sound seems to be the main aspect I need to focus on.

Ident

Making our Ident
I made our ident by using pictures that we have previously taken from our photoshoot of a person. Because our name is 'anonymous productions 'our idea was to have a figure show however, not being able to recognise the face.  I made this ident using Adobe Photoshop, I layered the images and changed the opacity of the layers to create the anonymous figure.

Weather Check

Weather Check
I looked up what the weather would be like in the location that we were filming in to see if it would be a good day to film and we would be prepared if we expected rain.

Location

We have chosen to film our opening sequence in West Hill. It is a small and general quiet village near Ottery St. Mary. When taking pictures for our location I noticed that the roads are not that busy therefore, filming in this village won't be too much of a risk especially because in some clips we would have to be positioned in the road.

Plans have changed

Plans have changed

Unfortunately, we have lost Martha in our group, this means that her role (Editing) me and Amy are going to share between us therefore the roles go as follows:
Camera- Amy
Editing- Amy and I
Sound- Me
Director- Me

This also means that we had to changed our opening sequence idea now as well. We are still going to have a strong independent woman as the lead in our film and going to keep the idea of the briefcase and her meeting somebody the same, however, we have found out from our rough cut that we need to shorten our idea by a lot therefore, we not actually going to film the moment she meets with the other people but leave the audience guessing what is to come next so this adds to the enigmas we already have in place.

Because this is a thriller we have also conversed the idea of giving off the feeling that somebody is watching her, one of our ideas to make this seem like this is happening is to have her look around behind her cautiously and also we were thinking about possibly having a hand held shot of her from in a bush by using this shot it would add to the eerie/thriller atmospheric effect that we are going for.

Risk Assessment

Some risks that we could face include:

Public Road, this could result in having a collision with a car or possibly being hit by one. This could inflict harm on the actors and crew members of our team. It could also possibly destroy equipment such as the camera and tripod. Control measures we could take is to get some extra people to warn upcoming cars. There is a low- moderate of this happening since we have already looked at the location and are familiar with the road and we know it's not a busy road.

Bad Weather, if it rains or is icy this could make the surface slippery so actors and crew members could fall and injure themselves, potentially camera equipment could also get damaged. We have looked ahead at the weather and we know it's going to be a sunny and dry day.
